Years of Experience
We have FIVE CAREER LEVELS with defined competencies. Employees are promoted when they’ve proven their ability to consistently perform well at their current level and have demonstrated competencies at the next level.
Associates have up to a minimum of 3 years of work experience, with preference in the management consulting industry.
Senior Associates have a minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in management consulting.
Managers have a minimum of 10 years of comprehensive work experience, with at least 5 years in management consulting and have successfully led consulting engagements.
Senior Managers have at least 15 years of professional experience, exhibiting specialized functional expertise in a specific capability, experience with business development and are able to lead efforts across Star Cypress Partners’ core service lines and industries.
Directors have a proven track record building and running a consulting business across Star Cypress Partners’ core service lines and client industries.

This is a hybrid position. While most of the work can be completed remotely, Star Cypress Partners team members commit to being on-site with clients for key meetings and to build relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
This position will be responsible for providing administrative, operational, and logistical support to the federal government contract and the Star Cypress Partners team. The candidate will support the planning, developing, delivering, and tracking of a wide variety of deliverables and tasks, including tasks related to analysis, document development and management, communications, training, stakeholder engagement, strategic and organizational planning. The candidate will need to possess a strong intellect and have a proven track record of influencing, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. In this role, the candidate will be flexible to changing environments as the business grows. Our clients’ missions are transformative, and we’ve always made sure to transform ahead of needs and opportunities. The selected candidate will have the ability to help influence our next transformation.
